Axis Builders is proud to work with the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston and Studio Red Architects on a New Dormitory project for St. Mary’s Seminary located in Houston, TX. The Dormitory serves as a temporary residence for candidates for the diocesan priesthood who intend to serve in the south and southwestern part of the United States. The project is a new ground up three-story 27,000 sqft. structural steel building with a masonry facade. The space includes fifty-four (54) Seminarian rooms, three (3) Formator rooms, Common spaces, as well as Meeting and Laundry rooms located on each floor. The project broke ground in October 2020 and is scheduled for completion in August 2021. Axis is excited to be part of such a meaningful and divine project for St. Mary’s Seminary and the Archdiocese of Galveston- Houston.
