Founded in 2012, we are a Texas-based general contracting firm dedicated to building quality projects with integrity, safety, and lasting relationships. The company is led by Texas native and Texas A&M alumnus, President and Founder Chad Clark. Our team proudly serves Houston and the surrounding areas. We specialize in faith-based, commercial, public, and non-profit construction projects, offering customer-centric solutions with transparent costs and dependable partnerships. Our dedicated workers love the construction business and emphasize safety, building strong relationships with clients, architects, consultants, and subcontractors. We pride ourselves on transforming our clients’ visions into reality by offering clear, affordable designs and trustworthy service. Beyond construction, we are committed to positively impacting our local community.

Our Core Values
Safety
We value life and well-being, for that reason safety is the highest priority at Axis Builders. Through the leadership of our Safety Program Manager and our Safety Program Administrator, the emphasis is on the prevention of incidents and injuries. As the General Contractor, we are responsible for the safety of every individual who comes onto one of our jobs. We will never compromise the well being of any person on any project.
Quality
Quality is an inherent part of the building process and cultivates client satisfaction. By partnering with our clients early on, Axis Builders is able to discern and compile their quality of vision and then execute that vision to the highest caliber. At Axis Builders we choose quality over mediocrity in order to guarantee a finished product that will stand the test of time.

President & Founder
Chad Clark
Chad Clark has over twenty years of experience in the construction industry. As President of Axis Builders, he is primarily responsible for business development, pre-construction services, overseeing project management, and estimating. His commitment to integrity, leadership, and building long-term relationships is the driving force behind Axis Builders’ relationship-driven construction approach.
Chad has managed various project types including education, health care, liturgical, tenant finish out, light industrial, retail, athletic, and manufacturing sectors. His experience is vast with projects of all sizes and budgets, as well as various construction methods including cast-in-place concrete, structural steel, wood frame, pre-engineered metal buildings, and pre-cast concrete construction. Chad’s ability to maximize the efficiency of the construction process is one of the skills that sets Axis Builders apart from its competitors.
Chad received his Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University through the College of Architecture. He is a member of the Association of Former Students, the 12th Man Foundation, and served on the Construction Industry Advisory Council for Texas A&M. Chad also sits on the Board of Directors for the “AGC Houston Chapter” The Associated General Contractors – Houston Chapter and is a lifetime Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo member serving on the Horsepitality Committee.
Chad has a heart for mission work both locally and abroad. He enjoys supporting Hope 4 Honduras by leading mission trips annually to build homes and serve the people of Honduras. Chad also works locally with his church and other non-profit organizations by giving back his time through service and financial support with the resources and talents he was gifted.
